IEEE Annual Election

The IEEE Annual Election is underway. In the past Region 6 has a record of low voter turnout. It is important that you participate so that the Region is properly represented in the IEEE leadership.

Ballots are due by October 1st; you can vote by mail or on-line. Voting members should have received a mailing by now with instructions on voting (return the hardcopy ballot or use your IEEE Web Account to access the online ballot).

IEEEXtreme 4.0 - Think you can code?

IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of student members, supported by an IEEE Student Branch and advised and proctored by an IEEE Member, compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.

Get your team together and start practicing your programming skills. Programming problems will be in C+, C++, and JAVA.

IEEEXtreme 4.0 is going to be held October 23rd, 2010, starting at 00:00 GMT and ending 23:59 GMT. Get your team members together, find a proctor, and start practicing your programming skills. Registration is now open so grab your friends and start forming your teams of three today. All active participants will receive a 2010 IEEEXtreme t-shirt. Registration closes October 9th.

Presidents' Change the World Competition
